Owl Centered in Her Heart.This owl has blue terra sigilatta on her face and green on her chest. Terra sigilatta is an ancient way of finishing and sealing ceramic art work. A very fine liquid clay with pigments added is brushed onto the unfired but very dry clay. Then it is burnished to create a soft, subtle sheen.
