new owls coming into being......
.........new owls are coming into being.........this is how they look when they are just formed and are still wet clay. they dry for a week or two sometimes three, and then get their first firing. glaze colors are applied which takes longer than the forming process and then they are fired at least once more, sometimes several more times to get the colors just right.

Earth friendly packaging for art work....
Bag of non-toxic peanuts for packaging my art work. These peanuts are made from starch which disintegrates in water. Its even OK if a cat eats one "although it's not a recommended practice" says the supplier ;-)

Inspiration
